Introduction to QuickBooks
QuickBooks is the #1 accounting software in the US. QuickBooks products are geared mainly toward small and medium-sized businesses and offer on-premises accounting applications as well as cloud-based versions that accept business payments, manage and pay bills, and payroll functions. This class will give you introduction to the Desktop (Pro, Premier, Accountant, Enterprise) and Online (Simple Start, Essentials, Plus and Advanced) products to help you make the decision which product is best for your business.
QuickBooks Desktop
Our QuickBooks expert will give you a complete introduction to the QuickBooks Desktop product including: setting up a company file and chart of accounts, navigating the home page, setting up your products and services and using QuickBooks lists and forms to record sales, receive payments and pay bills. We will also learn how to generate and understand the financial reports (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) you need to monitor and analyze your business and give to your accountant at yearend.
QuickBooks Online
QBO is a monthly subscription, cloud based accounting software that offers you anywhere, anytime access. You can connect your bank and credit card accounts in QBO and get cash flow insights at a glance. Use your phone or tablet to enter transactions, manage accounts payable, send online invoices and more – from anywhere. View your Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet reports instantly with a click of a button and simplify all your bookkeeping including having the peace of mind knowing your data is backed up to the cloud daily.
Payroll 101 –
This seminar is designed to be a beginner’s guide to payroll taxes and forms. Jeff Weathers, owner of Integrity Bookkeeping Services will discuss the payroll process from beginning to end – from hiring your employee, filling out forms, withholding and paying taxes and submitting forms to the State and Federal government. Whether you handle your payroll yourself, employ an in-house accountant, or outsource the whole deal, you’ll be in better control if you familiarize yourself with the basics.
